7th/8th Grade Electives - World Languages
Thoreau Middle School Offers French and Spanish.
All courses are year-long academic electives. This is a High School level course. Upon successful completion of the 8th grade courses, students will receive one High School credit. Students have two options: (1) two-year program where students take level 1 part A as 7th graders and level 1 part B as 8th graders and (2) one-year program where students take it as 8th graders. Students who register in the two-year program must complete both years in order to receive one High School credit.
